AQUA MARIA Veľaty Club Season End 2020

Friday 2.10 after the arrival of the participants, an informal opening suddenly during the roasting of sausages, which was taken over by Rišo in nice gazebos, where we sat with recorded music directed by the president of our club. At the meeting, 23 adults and 13 children were presented, who were accommodated in 25 car caravans, 5 trailers and 5 cottages.

Saturday 3.10 at 10 a.m., a cruise on a large boat on the Bodrog River to Hungary was planned. As the borders were closed, we took advantage of the offer to sail on the Podkova pond, where migratory birds reside. It was a smaller boat for 10 people with a charming captain who showed us the nice backstage of this lake. On the way back, we stopped at the lowest point of the Slovak Republic, marked with a granite obelisk with an altitude of 94.3 m. At 2 p.m., a smaller group of 12 moved to the village of Veľká Tŕňa to the Ostrožovič winery to taste Tokaj wines. In the campsite, Zdeno started cooking goulash and so the adults moved to the gazebo to help him, The children had fun on the multifunctional playground with ball games.

During the entire stay, we all had a small but nice wellness at our disposal.

Sunday 4.10 in the morning, most of us took advantage of the visit to the Tokaj observation tower in the shape of a wine barrel near the village of Malá Tŕňa. In pleasant weather, the participants went home.
